School Workshops
We aim to provide meaningful, fun, curriculum and skills based workshops for children to learn, create and explore techniques through a variety of media, in an enjoyable, friendly and stimulating environment. All learning objectives are based on National curriculum guide lines for Art and Design and are age specific.
We run whole week, full day or half-day workshops suitable for whole classes or smaller groups.
We offer a wide range of arts and crafts which address all the art educational key areas. Here are just a few examples of the topics we can cover.
Drawing: Line drawing studies taken from nature, Cityscapes in pen and ink
Painting: Paul Klee: Shape, colour and tone studies, Graffiti and Font design
Collage: Still life studies inspired by Matisse and Portraits inspired by Derek Gores.
Printing: Customised T Shirts Vivienne Westwood style
Mono pattern prints, taking inspiration from Islamic Decorative arts.
Textiles: Kandinsky inspired weaving project
Textured Wool wrapped landscapes
3D: Clay tiles, Cardboard totem poles and Shoe box diorama
In addition we can offer workshops that are topic based, such as, Egyptians, Maps, Superheroes, Ourselves, Greeks and Aboriginal art, Mini beasts and the Environment. We can also design bespoke projects to suit the schools creative needs.
Children can build large, collaborative art works for display at school and make smaller items to take home.
All materials for projects are provided by us. However, as costs may vary, resources and travel are additional.
Prices: Full day. £200 - Plus materials and travel.
Half day. £100 - Plus material and travel .
